Why did my voice build fail?

The failure is most likely due to background noise in the audio. For the best results, it’s important to have very little to no background noise. Sounds like air conditioners, fans, or people talking can interfere with the voice-building process. To avoid this, try to record in a quiet space and ensure no constant background sounds are present.
