High CPU Usage

When converting a recording, there is a gigantic load on the processor (about 100%) and high memory consumption (8 GB). Im not able to work like this. Here my specs:

 - Nvida GeForce GT1030

- proccesor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz 

- RAM: 16 GB

- WINDOWS 10 PRO 64

  Total piece of garbage software... completely hosed my more than powerful machine. Couldn't even run the diagnostics and task manager. Started with Windows even though I DID NOT give it permission. Deleted and forgot about this garbage.
