Update Not Working

The updater isn't working for me. I get an error: 


Things I have tried: 
Checked internet access.. OK 
Checked that firewall rules weren't blocking connection.. OK 
Checked that date & time settings were up to date.. OK 
Checked that I was using an admin account.. OK 
Restart computer and tried again.. still the same problem.
