Ai voice crackle scratchy how do you fix?

In record mode,

I get varying audio crackle and scratchy sounds  that ruin the voice. Is this due to 48 sample rate?    I have a headset mic . If I record another clip it will have noise in other places. That is, it is not artifcats at the same place so I am not clear why this audio gets garbled or how to fix it.

I have tried reduce breath or reduce noise without much luck.  Usually more noticable when first start talking

 

Audacity noise reduction does not clean it up.  

Does the plus membership give a cleaner audio file?   I am playing with the Morgan Freeman voice.   The first recording parts came out clearer but I had to add something and 7 tries, I could not get it as clean as the first record.

  I am having the same exact issue.

  Its a catch 22 for me though, I don't want to pay for it because of the quality but I cant get a clear answer if paying will help or not.

  The scratchiness is pretty rough and makes it unusable for most voices.
