Bad Gateway (Code 502) Host Error

I've looked into this code and have seen it before. It all points to the server on the host's end being down. I've searched the website and there doesn't seem to be any indication of when the site will be back up or even other people talking about it. If you could help me figure this out that would be greatly appreciated.
