Live Mode audio cuts out during gameplay

So I have a very powerful PC and a decent microphone, and when I'm in Record Mode, Voice.ai works swimmingly with pretty much zero issues. In Live Mode, things work pretty good in programs like Discord when I'm simply chatting with people. However, whenever I turn on a game, the audio in Live Mode gets very poor with constant cutting in and out. I've already seen that my PC's performance is perfectly fine whilst I am using both my game and my Live Mode so I would like to know why my audio cuts out. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!
