VOICE.AI Real Time Voice Changer keeps cutting out

Basically every time I use the app, switch my audio input device to the VOICE.AI one to get my voice changer voice in other people's ears, it's so glitchy and cutting out so much it's impossible to understand. I have tried about EVERYTHING I think I can to make it work and nothing has so far which really does suck because the app is so well made except for this one issue I haven't seen fixed for anyone yet :(
