I already have a subscription but the app wants me to buy a yearly sub to open it.

I've been using the app on my partners Windows PC for about a year and just downloaded to Mac version which I've been waiting for, so I can use my own computer with it. Can I not sign in to the app and have it register my current subscription that has allowed me to use the windows version?
