Voice was good but suddenly is robotic?

Hi, I was testing around yesterday and originally had great quality results, but somehow now it keeps telling me my mic is more quiet and also the recording is not smooth at all anymore and instead more robotic - unlike at the beginning where all was great. How do I get back to good results? I haven't changed anything with the mic, and even if i increase grain or make it louder via audacity its not near the quality of what I got out in the beginning :(

  Can you let us know when this change happened for you? And does this affect all the voices or only selected ones?
