App crashes when loading a broken 3rd-party voice model
The same issue was reported a year ago, nothing changed. So here is my bug report :)
When a broken or incompatible 3rd-party voice model is uploaded, the app crashes on startup. The model is automatically loaded at launch, and there is no way to cancel or skip the loading process.
I tried to manually remove the model files, but I couldn’t find them (at least not in an unencrypted form). Adding a cancel button or an option to disable the autoloader would prevent being locked out of the app.

Please try the following steps:
-
Navigate to
C:\Users\{YOURUSERNAME}\AppData\Local\Voice.ai\Cache and delete the folder. Restart the app and try again. - If the "AppData" folder is not visible, go to View > Show > Hidden Items to make it appear.
-
If that doesn’t work, uninstall Voice.ai and reinstall it.
If the issue persists, email us at support@voice.ai and tell us the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far, as well as your OS and PC specs.
