Lessening the other side voice

That sounds like your mic is too sensitive. You need to turn down your input level and/or buy a dynamic mic.

Voice AI is really sensitive and picks up any noise it hears. So if your mic is close to your speakers or headset then it will pick up the sounds you are hearing. It doesn't filter out background noise automatically like programs like Zoom, MS Teams etc.

unfortunately, that is not the case. even if my mic is off or disconnected still this issue occurs

If your mic is off or disconnected and this still happens then that isn't a Voice AI issue. If your mic is off then how is your voice being picked up?

    Not my voice!
let me clear this up more. suppose we are on a call and I'm using voice ai live in a call or meeting. now even if I turn off my mic or disconnect my mic and you are talking then you can hear your own voice from my mic as changed voice but my mic is physically off. how can I fix this issue?

Sounds like you are switching automatically to an integrated mic or webcam mic or some other audio device that isn't your main mic.

If you want to make sure 100% that nothing gets through then either close Voice AI or turn off voice changing in live mode.

So the live mode actually takes my output as input in a call.

What's happening is that Voice AI selects another mic when it detects that the primary one is gone (e.g. when you disconnect it). Then that new secondary mic is hearing your output from your speakers or headphones (e.g. the person on the other side). Most applications understand that isn't you so automatically block that sound out for you.

Voice AI registers anything picked up by your mic regardless of volume, frequency, pitch, source as human voice. It lets the sound through and tries to change it.

So live mode itself isn't actively taking your output as input. Rather your mic picks up your output and then Voice AI processes everything your mic is picking up (including that output) since it processes everything your mic picks up.

For example with a really sensitive condenser mic and say a cat purring in your lap, that would be picked up by your mic and Voice AI would try to use it to change your voice.

Fishark, did you manage to solve this? Could you send us a screenshot of your selected input device in voice.ai? And also of the input/output device in whatever application you are trying to use it
