[SOLVED] No Output Audio in Applications but Record Mode and Hear Yourself Work

I think what did it was my Visual C++. I basically ending up reinstalling/updating it: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

Before that though, I made sure all my current audio drivers were up-to-date. I then reinstalled Visual C++ and once again, deleted Voice.AI, used DriverStore to delete any leftover drivers. THEN restarted my PC. Reinstalled Voice.AI, and it's working fine now. PHEW.

I have tried restarting. I have tried updating my Windows from Windows 10.0.19044 to the latest version, and I have also tried uninstalling voice.ai, used DriverStore to delete any drivers for it, and reinstalled the program. Still not working. As the topic states, I can hear myself fine in Recorded / Live / Hear Myself. But when selecting the Input in Discord (and tried VRChat too), it says no audio detected from my mic. My Windows default is even the Voice.ai Input as well. And yes, I am aware it does not work with 'Hear Yourself' active.

I have two options: "Microphone Array (Voice.ai Audio Cable)" and I installed VB to get "CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) - but still no changes. Discord still states there is no audio detected and there is no audio in VRChat neither. It won't even show it picking up audio in Windows nor in the Sound settings.

P.S. I've tested it with 4 mics. All work in-software, none work in outside programs/games. Blue Yeti, Antlion ModMic, Corsair Void Pro (Wireless), & a C920 webcam.

  same issue here, above steps don't fix it. running windows 11, i9 processor with a Radeon RX Vega 56

  I just installed Voice AI and tried recording but in play back I do not hear anything except at the end it says voice AI. I'm trying to run it on Windows 11 machine as well. I can get it to work although my mic seems to see audio in the program. Not a good first impression and not very simple to fix it appears.

  Same issues with Windows 11 no live mode and doesn't record even..
